Many of you may be wondering, what on earth is Nüwúd? Well, we'll tell you. Patrick Wood is the birth name of the founder and owner of Nuwud Multimedia. Nüwúd is his pen name. Pronounced "New-Wood", it's a play on words. It utilizes a phonetic spelling of his surname, Wood, and the the prefix, "Nu" to represent his desire to constantly recreate himself and his vision. To be new.

The name serves to remind us that every morning marks the beginning of a new day, new ideas, new possibilities, new perspectives, new dreams, a new us. Another interpretation we are fond of is that every new work of art we produce here at Nuwud Multimedia is a Nüwúd.

Our founder, Nuwud, attended college at Brooks College in Long Beach, California. In 2 years, Nuwud had unbelievable amounts of information crammed into his poor noodle. This concentration of curriculum gave Nuwud the edge in the tough business of multimedia. Nuwud earned his associate's degree in Multimedia in March 2003.

Nuwud's education included graphic design, illustration, typography, animation, 3d design, film & video editing, web design, web development, e-commerce, and business management. Of course, this is a rough outline of everything that was covered. The great thing about going to school, for Nuwud, was learning all the software; that made all the difference in the field of multimedia.

Besides the regular Nuwud Multimedia web development and design services, Nuwud has also discovered a market for tutoring. Many entrepenuers and post graduates in media embrace this tutoring service since many colleges offering media degrees don't seem to cover software training as well. Many of Nuwud's private students have since learned how to upgrade their skills on their own and produced many great projects by themselves.
